Damper Adjustment Guide

Follow these steps to calibrate the airflow of your Ducted Terminal Diffuser without needing to access the ceiling plenum.

  1. Remove the Access Plug: Using a 1/4” flat-head screwdriver, gently remove the well nut (access plug) from the centerboard located in the middle of the filter face.

  2. Locate the Adjustment Screw: Insert the screwdriver through the centerboard opening until it engages with the adjustment screw attached to the internal damper plate.

  3. Calibrate Airflow: * To Close: Turn the screwdriver clockwise.

    • To Open: Turn the screwdriver counter-clockwise.

  4. Reseal the Unit: Once the desired airflow is achieved, remove the screwdriver and firmly replace the well nut to ensure a proper seal.

Pro Tip: Use the centerboard port to perform aerosol challenge injections during routine certification to verify filter integrity.
