Heavy-Duty Structural Ceiling Grid System
Our Cleanroom Grid is specifically designed to meet the rigorous demands of controlled environments. It provides a level, secure, and airtight frame capable of supporting a full array of cleanroom components, from high-efficiency lighting to heavy-duty fan filter units.
Advanced Structural Engineering
The system is built to provide maximum stability for both main tees and cross tees. This ensures that the ceiling remains perfectly square and level, even under the significant weight loads of a fully equipped cleanroom. The precision-engineered connections eliminate sagging and shifting, maintaining the long-term integrity of your environment.
Seamless Component Integration
This grid is the “universal connector” for your cleanroom ceiling. It is designed for perfect dimensional compatibility with:
-
Filtration: Provides a robust seat for Q-Series and M-Series Fan Filter Units (FFUs).
-
Lighting: Designed to hold flush-mounted Ceiling Lights securely.
-
Enclosures: Works in tandem with Ceiling Panels to create a complete, particle-tight barrier.
Contamination Control & Sealing
To maintain cleanroom standards (up to Class 10/ISO 4), our grid system is designed to be gasketed or caulked. The smooth, finished surfaces of the tees are resistant to particle accumulation and can withstand the aggressive cleaning agents typically used in sterile or pharmaceutical environments.

Designing Your Cleanroom Infrastructure
The Grid is more than just a frame; it is the structural foundation that determines the layout and efficiency of your entire controlled environment. Building a cohesive system ensures long-term compliance and ease of maintenance.
1. Lighting & Visibility
A high-performance ceiling requires integrated lighting that doesn’t compromise the air seal. Our Ceiling Lights are designed to sit flush within the grid, providing edge-to-edge illumination while maintaining a gasketed, particle-tight connection to the grid tees.
2. Specialized Air Filtration
Your grid layout must account for the placement of Fan Filter Units (FFUs) to ensure proper laminar airflow. Our heavy-duty grid systems are engineered to support the weight of:
-
Q-Series FFUs: Best for energy-efficient, quiet operation in standard cleanrooms.
-
M-Series FFUs: Designed for environments requiring precise, variable-speed airflow control.
3. Completing the Enclosure
For areas of the grid not occupied by lights or filters, use our Ceiling Panels. These panels drop into the grid easily and provide a smooth, non-shedding surface that is resistant to the rigorous cleaning chemicals used in sterile environments.
Why Choose a Unified System?
By sourcing your grid, lights, and panels from Bennett & Bennett, you eliminate the risk of “component mismatch.”
-
Perfect Sealing: All components are sized for a precision fit to prevent pressure leaks.
-
Simplified Installation: Standardized hardware means faster assembly and lower labor costs.
-
Aesthetic Uniformity: Matching powder-coated finishes create a professional, sterile appearance.

Grid System Shipping & Logistics
Shipping cleanroom grid components requires specialized packaging and handling to ensure structural straightness and finish quality. We take extra precautions to ensure your Grid arrives in perfect condition for a seamless installation.
Oversized Freight Delivery
Because grid “main tees” and “cross tees” are typically manufactured in long spans, this product ships exclusively via LTL (Less Than Truckload) Freight.
-
Protective Bundling: Components are securely bundled and often crated or strapped to extra-long pallets to prevent bending or surface scratching.
-
Shipping Quotes: Due to the irregular dimensions of grid shipments, freight costs are calculated manually. Please Request a Quote to receive an accurate shipping estimate for your project location.
Receiving Your Shipment
-
Length Requirements: Please ensure your delivery site can accommodate long-haul trailers. If your facility does not have a standard loading dock, please notify us in advance so we can arrange for a flatbed or liftgate-equipped vehicle (note: some grid lengths may exceed standard liftgate dimensions).
-
Mandatory Inspection: It is critical to inspect the shipment for any signs of “bowing” or transit damage before signing the Bill of Lading (BOL). Any damage must be noted on the driver’s paperwork to ensure a valid insurance claim.
Lead Times & Coordination
-
In-Stock Items: Standard grid components typically ship within 14 business days.
-
Custom Layouts: For large-scale projects or custom configurations, lead times may vary. We recommend coordinating your grid delivery with the arrival of your Ceiling Lights and FFUs to streamline your on-site construction schedule.
